Cardi B, Jennifer Lopez and mgk walked the runway at Vogue World 2026: Milano on 22 September at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan.
The show opened Milan Fashion Week with musicians, athletes and models sharing the same catwalk. It was staged as a series of acts mixing fashion and live performance, according to Billboard.
Cardi B appeared in the third act in a brightly coloured dress printed with Vogue magazine covers. The look was a Versace dress adorned with vintage Vogue covers, Vogue confirmed in its coverage of the night. Lopez modelled a sparkly black gown with opera gloves alongside Italian tennis player Lorenzo Musetti. mgk followed in the fourth act in an orange jumpsuit.
Alicia Keys provided the music late in the evening. She performed Donna Summer's "I Feel Love" during the fifth act while wearing a hand-painted Francesco Risso dress. Ballet star Roberto Bolle also performed during the show in Milan.
The cast stretched well beyond the music headliners. J Balvin modelled an ornate Dolce & Gabbana suit, described as a pink printed suit with a metallic sheen. Ejae, the singer known for work on the animated film KPop Demon Hunters, modelled a Roberto Capucci outfit. Gigi Hadid appeared on the runway, and Levi McConaughey was also among those who walked, according to People.
What makes this stand out is the setting and the brief. The 2026 edition put the focus on Italian craftsmanship, with designers and ateliers from across Italy represented. The Galleria, the 19th-century shopping arcade beside the Duomo, served as both venue and backdrop.
The Milan show was the fifth Vogue World event, following editions in New York in 2022, London, Paris and Hollywood. It took place on the first day of Milano Fashion Week, which is scheduled for 22 to 28 September 2026 for the spring-summer 2027 season. The official fashion week calendar listed Vogue World: Milano as a 20:00 fashion show presented by Vogue.
