Cardi B walked the runway at Vogue World 2026: Milano on Sept. 22 during Milan Fashion Week. The show was staged at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan. The event is part of Milan Fashion Week programming. Billboard reported the appearance on Sept. 24.

She wore a colourful Versace dress printed with vintage Vogue covers. The design pulled past front pages into one look, including Madonna's first Vogue cover. She walked the full length of the runway in the dress, keeping the covers on display with each step.

After the show Cardi B described the night as a dream. She thanked Vogue global editorial director Anna Wintour and designer Donatella Versace for the runway opportunity. On Instagram she wrote "A moment I will never forget" and added "What a dream!" The posts summed up a night she clearly wanted to mark.

She was part of a music-heavy line-up on the catwalk. Jennifer Lopez, mgk and J Balvin were also among the models in the Vogue World: Milano show. Alicia Keys performed during the event, singing Donna Summer's 1977 hit "I Feel Love." Live music ran through the show rather than sitting apart from it.

Vogue World is Vogue's globe-trotting fashion celebration, with a different host city each year. The Milano edition was the fifth. Vogue said the 2026 show celebrated the skilled artisans who shape Italian fashion. The tribute put craftsmanship and the human touch at the centre, honouring the hands behind the clothes as well as the names on the labels.

Cardi B also gave fans something to look forward to beyond fashion. She confirmed she is working on her third studio album, her third full-length collection of new recordings. The aim is a 2027 release. The update came around her Vogue World appearance in Milan. No tracklist or exact date has been shared, so for now the year is the timeline.

What makes this stand out is the way the night folded fashion history into the present. A dress printed with old covers, a 1977 disco hit, and a cast drawn from today's charts all shared one runway. For fans, this means two things to watch: the photos from Milan, and what Cardi B does next in the studio.
