Meghan Markle Hosts Best Friend Kelly McKee Zajfen and Baby Jack in England

Kelly McKee Zajfen packed up her baby son Jack and flew to England to see Meghan Markle. She shared the trip in a series of Instagram photos highlighted Sept. 23.

Town & Country describes Zajfen as Markle's best friend. The photos feel casual and close. One shows Markle, Zajfen and another friend sitting around a mahjong table, the four-player tile game, with wine glasses in front of them.

Another photo shows Markle holding Jack inside a restaurant. A third shows Prince Harry lying on the floor with the baby. The images capture small, unposed moments rather than an official outing.

Zajfen wrote in her caption that she loved seeing this chapter through Meghan's eyes. She described daily adventures and experiencing little firsts with Jack by her side. She also thanked people she met in the United Kingdom for being loving to her friend and wrote that her friend missed them.

The England visit is the latest chapter in a long and public friendship. Markle and Zajfen had lunch and went shopping together in Montecito ahead of Veterans Day in 2023, according to People. Markle sent flowers to Zajfen to celebrate the birth of her baby boy.

That baby is Jack Oliver, who has red hair. Markle previously shared her own photo of herself cradling Jack and kissing him. People reported in June that he was 11 months old at the time. Zajfen's husband is Julian.

Markle stepped out with Zajfen in California on March 19. Markle is mother to Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

What makes this stand out is the scale. No palace balcony. No formal portrait. Just friends around a game table, a baby passed from arm to arm, and a father on the floor at playtime.
