Prince Harry is lying flat on a patterned rug, face to face with a baby, in new photographs from his new home in Britain. The images capture floor-level playtime, not a formal appearance.

The pictures were shared by Kelly McKee Zajfen after a visit to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in the UK, as reported by HELLO!. Her young son Jack is the tiny co-star in the main shot. Harry lies with his legs crossed while Jack is positioned right next to his face.

He wears green trousers and a blue T-shirt for the moment. The rug beneath them has a bold, busy pattern. It is the relaxed sprawl any parent will recognise straight away.

Another photograph from the same visit shows Princess Lilibet playing with Zajfen. She is photographed from behind. The framing keeps the moment private while still sharing the fun.

PEOPLE described Zajfen as Meghan Markle's best friend in its coverage of the visit, published at PEOPLE. The visit brings two families together at home. There is no stage here, just sofas and floor space.

Prince Harry, who is fifth in line to the throne, also spoke about settling back in Britain. He told HELLO! the last two weeks had been eventful, the children were in school, and it was great to be back on British soil. His words ran alongside the photographs published on 24 September.

HELLO! first ran the story on 23 September under the headline 'Meghan Markle and Prince Harry pictured with adorable baby in sweet post'. Yahoo carried a version under the same headline on 23 September, authored by Matthew Moore. An updated report with the floor photograph and Harry's comments followed on 24 September.

What makes this stand out is how ordinary it looks. There are no suits and no speeches. Just a dad on the carpet while a baby studies his face.

For fans, this means a small, warm snapshot as the family finds its rhythm again in Britain. Jack holds the spotlight without trying, and Harry looks happy to give it to him. It is the sort of picture that travels fast because it needs no caption. Short, sweet and very much on the floor.
