Meta's Lisa-Edition Smart Glasses Keep the Same Tech in New Frames

Meta announced two smart glasses developed with Blackpink rapper Lisa at Meta Connect 2026. The line is sold as Meta Glasses by Lisa and was presented alongside other frame, pricing and availability updates. Engadget
The Meta Adventurer Lisa Edition uses rectangular frames in a semi-translucent Moonlit Sky finish with Blush lenses. The Meta Capri Lisa Edition introduces a new Capri shape, a darker cat-eye frame with grey lenses. The styling differs, while the electronics stay the same.
Both models have a star on the temple tips, the ends of the arms that sit over the ears. Both ship with a custom charging case with a star design, plus case charms shaped like Lisa's pets. Functionality is unchanged.
The Lisa editions have the same Meta AI assistant, audio system and camera as earlier Meta smart glasses. They support prescription lenses, lenses made to an individual vision prescription. That stability helps developers and IT buyers, because retail model numbers change without changing the software target or the limits on inputs and outputs.
Both Lisa models start at $399, above Meta's usual $299 starting price for smart glasses. Meta is also selling a black Meta Adventurer frame with a plug-in charging case for $249, for buyers who do not need the custom case.
Two other frame updates came with the Lisa launch. Meta is releasing an Ivory off-white version of Starfire frames for the Meta Glasses by Kylie Jenner line. It introduced a Nova frame for regular, non-special-edition Meta Glasses, adding to the standard catalog.
Availability expanded at the same time. Meta launched Meta Glasses in Singapore, South Korea, Mexico and the United Arab Emirates alongside the new frames. It plans to bring Meta Glasses to Brazil in the near future.
The broader context here is segmentation on a stable base. Keeping the assistant, audio, camera and prescription support the same across Lisa and standard models lets Meta test demand driven by fashion while the core capability stays fixed. For buyers, the choice is frame shape, color and case bundle, not features. The $249 to $399 range shows finishes, cases and licensed design doing the work on price, since the listed functions do not change.
In my view, the regional expansion is the harder operational task. Adding Singapore, South Korea, Mexico and the United Arab Emirates, with Brazil planned, widens retail placement, prescription fulfillment and daily support. Celebrity editions can bring early store traffic, but long-term use will depend on how well the same assistant, audio and camera fit daily routines in different conditions. If Meta can keep one capability set steady while widening frames, prices and countries, eyewear gets a familiar retail logic, new looks on top and a consistent platform underneath.
