Ozzy & Black Sabbath final-show film shares trailer ahead of Oct. 28 cinema run

The trailer for 'Ozzy & Black Sabbath: Back to the Beginning' was released on Thursday, Sept. 24, offering the first extended preview of the film built around Ozzy Osbourne's final show. The film opens in theatres worldwide on Oct. 28 for a limited time, according to Billboard.
The show it documents took place on July 5, 2025, at Villa Park in Birmingham, U.K. About 45,000 fans attended the sold-out date, billed as Back to the Beginning.
The concert was overseen on stage by Tom Morello, who served as musical director. The screen version runs for two hours and 30 minutes.
It was directed by Ben Wainwright-Pearce and produced by Mercury Studios, which announced the release of the concert film under the full title 'Ozzy & Black Sabbath: Back to the Beginning', according to Ozzy.com.
Osbourne died on July 22, 2025, at age 76, 17 days after the Birmingham concert. The film presents that performance as his final live appearance.
The cinema outing is planned as an event release, meaning a limited run of booked screenings rather than a standard open-ended theatrical run. It is listed for Oct. 28, 2026, with Trafalgar Releasing maintaining an event page for the title. Ticket information lists the on-sale time as 7:00 a.m. PT / 10:00 a.m. ET.
For fans, this means a sold-out stadium night becomes available to a wider audience. Those who were not in Birmingham will be able to see the final set in cinemas, in full, from Oct. 28.
