The last concert by Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath is coming to cinemas.

Ozzy & Black Sabbath: Back to the Beginning opens in theatres on Oct. 25, directed by Ben Wainwright-Pearce, Deadline reported on Oct. 15. The film captures the farewell show held on July 5, 2025.

That show took place at Villa Park stadium, Reuters reported. Osbourne performed “Crazy Train” during the set. It was his final performance with Black Sabbath.

It was filmed 17 days before his death, according to the BBC. Osbourne died on July 22, 2025. He was 76.

His wife, Sharon Osbourne, said watching the film was “very, very hard.” She described the experience as bittersweet in an interview with Rolling Stone, as reported by Deadline. She said Osbourne would have watched it and called himself “one lucky son of a bitch.”

Sharon Osbourne also said her husband had spent a week in hospital in England before the July 5 concert. Doctors had advised him not to perform. They warned him the show would kill him, she said.

For fans, this means a chance to see that night as it happened. The film preserves the farewell set on a cinema screen, weeks after it became Osbourne’s last appearance.
