Netflix Sets Gabby's Dollhouse Spinoff Doozie's Doghouse for 9 November

Netflix has set Doozie's Doghouse, a spinoff — meaning a new series built around a character from an existing show — centred on Doozie from Gabby's Dollhouse.

The seven-episode series premieres 9 November on Netflix as a companion show to the flagship preschool series, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Each episode runs 22 minutes. That is short by design. Preschool slots move fast.

Doozie is Gabby's dog-loving little sister. She is voiced by Celestina Harris, who debuted in the role in season 14 of the main series.

The character was first mentioned in 2025's Gabby's Dollhouse: The Movie before stepping on screen. Gabby, her cat-loving big sister, is played by Laila Lockhart-Kraner. The cat-versus-dog split is the hook here.

The spinoff was created by Gabby's Dollhouse co-creators Traci Paige Johnson and Jennifer Twomey. It keeps the flagship's mix of live action and animation, built around unboxings that open into a fantastical world.

The voice cast around Harris includes Sebastian Billingsley-Rodriguez as Puggie Paws, Aaliyah Butler as CreamPup, Blake Kennedy as PixiePup, Donovan Patton as Crouton Breadington, Alan Trinca as GamePup, Kimiko Glenn as Seaquin the SeaPup, Darius Marquis Johnson as Swaggy Waggy and Arthur Waite as BoxPup.

Gabby and her friends will cross over for playdates with Doozie's dog pals. The two groups share the same neighbourhood of stories, just from different kennels and dollhouses.

Gabby's Dollhouse first launched on Netflix in 2021 and is now in its 14th season. Season 14 arrived on 14 September, according to Gabby's Dollhouse on Facebook. DreamWorks Animation describes the original as a mixed-media preschool series that unboxes a surprise before jumping into an animated world full of cat characters, per DreamWorks.

For families, this means double the routine. One show for Gabby's cats. One for Doozie's dogs.
