Gabby's Dollhouse is getting a new family member. The Netflix preschool series has cast Celestina Harris as the voice of Doozie, Gabby's little sister, ahead of a Season 14 premiere on September 14 (The Hollywood Reporter).

Harris is known for her role in the Paramount+ series Lioness. She now joins Laila Lockhart-Kraner, who has played Gabby since the show's beginning. Doozie is a dog lover whose best puppy pal is named Puggie — a companion in the same mould as Gabby's own stuffed-animal friends who populate the Dollhouse.

The casting was first teased in a surprise end-of-movie reveal in Gabby's Dollhouse: The Movie, the 2025 film adaptation. That stinger planted the seed for Doozie's arrival on the series proper, and Netflix has now confirmed the character will feature in the new season.

Gabby's Dollhouse is a mixed-media series — blending live-action and animation — produced by DreamWorks Animation for Netflix. It was created and is executive produced by Traci Paige Johnson and Jennifer Twomey. Netflix's own title page lists the show with 13 seasons to date (Netflix), with Season 14 arriving next month.

The show ranked as the No. 4 series on Netflix in the second half of 2025, according to the platform's own Tudum site (Netflix Tudum). That places it among the most-watched titles on the service across all genres, not just children's programming — a measure of how broadly a preschool title can reach on a global streaming platform.

Netflix has been deepening its investment in the franchise. In June 2026 the platform ordered a Gabby's Dollhouse competition series (Variety; Deadline), expanding the property beyond its animated storytelling format. The same announcement included a deal adding more than 100 episodes of Sesame Street to Netflix, signalling a broader push into preschool content.
