AHS: 13 Premieres Sept 24 With Triple-Episode Launch
American Horror Story returns on Sept. 24 with three episodes in one night on FX at 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET.
FX Networks titles the new season “AHS: 13”, and it will run to 13 half-hour episodes, meaning each instalment is cut to a 30-minute slot rather than the hour-long shape of past seasons, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The triple-episode launch opens a five-week run that ends just before Halloween.
New episodes drop simultaneously on Hulu and Disney+ alongside the FX broadcast, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Viewers who want to watch live can do so through services that carry FX, including DirecTV, Fubo, Sling and Hulu + Live TV. Hulu Press lists Sept. 24 as the American Horror Story: 13 Three-Episode Premiere from FX in its September 2026 schedule.
The rollout after opening night is organised in batches. Episodes 4 to 6 are scheduled for Oct. 1, followed by episodes 7 and 8 on Oct. 8. Episodes 9 and 10 follow on Oct. 15, and episodes 11 and 12 arrive on Oct. 22. Episode 13, the season finale, is set for Oct. 29.
Two favourite familiar faces are back for the new run. Jessica Lange returns for Season 13, alongside Evan Peters, as reported by Variety. FX has released an official teaser for the season on its show page, according to FX Networks.
Viewers in Britain follow one day later. Disney+ UK lists Sept. 25 as the premiere date for American Horror Story: 13 in the UK.
For fans, this means a fast October. Three episodes at the start, then weekly drops in groups of two or three, with a clear end date.
There are free trial routes for opening night in the United States. DirecTV offers a five-day free trial for streaming FX live, and Fubo offers a five-day free trial on the same basis. FX has also launched the “13 Horrors of American Horror Story Sweepstakes” tied to the Sept. 24 premiere.
