Beabadoobee scores second straight U.K. No. 1 with Pylon

Beabadoobee has earned her second U.K. No. 1 album with Pylon.
The result gives her two chart-toppers in a row on the Official Albums Chart, the U.K.'s main weekly albums ranking. Pylon follows This Is How Tomorrow Moves, which gave her a first No. 1 in 2024. Billboard confirmed the new No. 1 on 25 September 2026.
Pylon is her fourth LP, the term for a full-length album. It was released on 18 September 2026. It leads the chart dated 27 September 2026, according to Official Charts.
That four-album run shows a clear upward path in Britain. Her debut album, Fake It Flowers, reached No. 8 on the U.K. Official Albums Chart in 2020. Her second album, Beatopia, reached No. 4 in 2022.
Her third album changed the story. This Is How Tomorrow Moves reached No. 1 on the U.K. Official Albums Chart in 2024. It also crossed over in the United States. It peaked at No. 34 on the Billboard 200, the U.S. albums chart, in the same year.
Pylon keeps that momentum and widens the circle of voices. The album features a vocal appearance by Paramore's Hayley Williams. It also features Turnstile's Brendan Yates and Deftones' Chino Moreno.
Each guest comes from a different corner of guitar music. Williams fronts the American rock band Paramore. Yates fronts the hardcore band Turnstile. Moreno fronts the metal band Deftones. Their presence puts Beabadoobee in direct conversation with artists who shaped loud music over three decades.
The sound of the record looks back as well. Its official shop listing describes Pylon as touching on classic grunge, midwest emo and '90s radio rock. Grunge means the heavy, melodic guitar sound that broke out of Seattle in the early 1990s. Midwest emo means the intricate, confessional guitar music that grew in the American Midwest. Radio rock means the polished, chorus-led sound built for mainstream airplay.
The release also follows the modern album rollout playbook. Fans could buy standard physical copies, including CD. A Sea Foam vinyl edition was issued for collectors of the LP format. A Bonus Track Version of the digital album added an exclusive unheard song, Candy, written by Bea during the Pylon era.
For fans, this means the new songs will move quickly from the chart to the stage. Beabadoobee will embark on an arena tour in the U.K. and Europe in autumn. Arena dates use large indoor venues with capacities in the thousands, with bigger crews, freight and production than theatre shows.
What makes this stand out is the consistency. Four albums in six years. A climb from No. 8 to No. 4 to No. 1. Now a second No. 1 to hold the position.
