Olympia and Design Museum open yearlong link with free Nigo screen show

Streetwear designer Nigo's work is now playing on an 83-metre outdoor screen in west London.
Olympia, the London exhibition and events centre, has started a yearlong partnership with the Design Museum, the London museum devoted to design. The opening act is an immersive digital presentation built around Nigo, the Japanese designer and creative director, according to WWD.
The show runs on Canvas, Olympia's large outdoor digital screen. It plays daily every 15 minutes. It is free to watch until Oct. 4.
Nigo is the artistic director of Kenzo, the Paris fashion house. He created two clothing brands, A Bathing Ape and Human Made.
The outdoor show links to “Nigo: From Japan With Love” at the Design Museum. The museum describes it as the first retrospective exhibition celebrating Nigo, meaning it looks back across his career to date. The exhibition opened on 1 May 2026.
The Olympia presentation was produced with Pixel Artworks, an experience-design studio that builds light and screen installations. The partners said it is the first in a series of free cultural events that will draw on Design Museum programmes through 2026 and 2027.
What makes this stand out is the setting. No ticket is needed. Passers-by get the museum show in a public space, on a loop, between shops and stations.
