Bruno Mars jokes after Drake joins Karol G on stage in Houston

Bruno Mars is jokingly calling for Karol G to respond after Drake danced with her on stage in Houston. Mars posted a photo of himself staring out of a private jet window to Instagram on Monday, Sept. 28. The post came hours after Drake made a surprise guest appearance at Karol G's Houston show on Sunday night, Sept. 27.
Drake took the stage with Karol G to perform “Ahí,” their recent collaboration, Billboard reported. He also performed “Janice STFU” and “One Dance,” his 2016 single. Karol G danced alongside him during “One Dance.” A clip of that dance spread widely on social media.
Mars answered with humour. He captioned the jet photo, “When you see Drake dancing with your latina crush in 4k @karolg @champagnepapi Respond to me asap.” He followed it with a second comment: “I have to get her back! I must get her back! I will get her back!” The tags address Karol G and Drake directly.
“Ahí” is one of two collaborations from Karol G’s latest album run. The song with Drake reached No. 44 on the Billboard Hot 100, the US singles chart. In August, it topped the Hot Latin Songs chart, Billboard’s ranking for Latin singles in the US. Those chart positions were counted by Billboard.
The other collaboration is “Still,” a synth-pop song with Mars. It landed at No. 41 on the Hot 100. Both “Ahí” and “Still” appear on Karol G’s album “No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto.” The album was released on Aug. 7 and debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200, the US albums chart.
Mars has already had his own on-stage moment during this tour. He joined Karol G as a guest at her Aug. 15 show at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Together they performed the live debut of “Still.” They also performed “Risk It All,” the Mars opener that starts the album.
For fans, this means the two guest spots are now linked by a running joke. Los Angeles got Mars in August. Houston got Drake in September. Mars made sure his reply was seen.
