Danny Dyer, James Norton and Cynthia Erivo to Host SNL UK in October

Danny Dyer, James Norton and Cynthia Erivo will host the next three editions of Saturday Night Live UK in October.

Dyer opens the run on Oct. 10 with singer Sasha Keable as musical guest. Norton follows on Oct. 17 with The Streets, and Erivo closes the block on Oct. 24 with Stockport band Blossoms, according to Variety.

The line-up follows the familiar Saturday Night Live pattern. Each week a guest host leads the sketches and a separate musical guest performs. The British version airs on Sky and NOW.

Season 2 has already aired three shows. It opened with Jeff Goldblum and CMAT, followed by Jamie Demetriou with Royal Blood and Amelia Dimoldenberg with Rachel Chinouriri.

The October dates extend that run. SNL UK was renewed for a 12-episode second season, four more episodes than its eight-episode first season. Three episodes are set for October, with six further episodes planned for early 2027.

The cast is largely settled. All 11 original cast members returned for Season 2, joined by newcomer Freddie Meredith.

Behind the cameras, the programme is produced by Universal Television Alternative Studio's U.K. production team and Broadway Video for Sky and NOW. Lorne Michaels, the long-time boss of the American Saturday Night Live, serves as executive producer, according to Variety.

For fans, this means a clear diary. Three live Saturday shows in a row through October, then a wait until the new year for the rest of the season.
