Dyer, Norton and Erivo to host next SNL UK episodes

Danny Dyer, James Norton and Cynthia Erivo will host the next three episodes of Saturday Night Live UK.

Sky announced the lineup on 29 September 2026 Sky. The three shows will air on Sky in October 2026 Deadline.

The format is simple. A guest host leads each live episode, fronting sketches alongside the regular cast. A musical guest performs during the show.

The music bookings for these episodes are Sasha Keable, The Streets and Blossoms WhatsOnStage. Sky has framed the three editions as the next run of shows in the current series.

Saturday Night Live UK is in its second series WhatsOnStage. It is the British version of the long-running American live sketch show, made for late-night television with a studio audience.

Earlier hosts for the UK edition include Hannah Waddingham and Ncuti Gatwa WhatsOnStage. That puts Dyer, Norton and Erivo in a short and visible list. Three names. Three weeks.

For fans, this means October is mapped out. Three Saturdays, three different hosts, three different music acts. Each host brings a different screen background to a live comedy room, where timing is tight and there is no second take.
