Jeremy Clarkson has finished filming Season 6 of Clarkson's Farm. He is not sure there will be a Season 7.

Speaking at the Royal Television Society London Convention, Clarkson said the future of the Prime Video series beyond the new run is undecided, according to Deadline. He said he is thinking about what comes after the farm. That could be a new show he described as unbelievably ambitious.

His shorthand for the next idea was fewer, bigger, better. He wants programmes that can cut through with audiences.

For anyone new to it, Clarkson's Farm follows Clarkson running a 1,000-acre farm in the English countryside despite starting out knowing nothing about farming, as set out by Amazon MGM Studios. The base is Diddly Squat Farm near Chadlington in Oxfordshire, worked with his regular team. The humour comes from that clash between a famous presenter and the daily grind of livestock, crops and weather.

Health loomed large in Season 5. The run followed Clarkson through a cancer diagnosis and a heart scare, and he later said the cancer was in remission. Prime Video had trailed the series with Clarkson facing a major health scare and under strict doctors' orders to take it easy, according to Prime Video. That series was also set against a government budget that sent the UK farming community into uproar.

Season 5 arrived on 3 June with four episodes, with two more following on 10 June, according to Variety. The show was then renewed for a sixth series, the BBC reported in July. That sixth series is the one Clarkson has now wrapped.

At the same convention appearance, Clarkson argued for a BritFlix streaming service. He said British broadcasters including the BBC and Channel 4 have to consolidate to survive.

Off screen, the farm keeps working. Diddly Squat Farm is set to host Cereals 2026, the arable farming event, near Chadlington, according to the BBC. Clarkson said he was thrilled to bits to host it.

For fans, this means one finished series is still to come. After that, the screen future of the farm is open.
