TF1 Sets 12 October Return for Art-Heist Drama Cat's Eyes

TF1's art-stealing sisters are back on 12 October, when Season 2 of Cat's Eyes launches in prime time.
The French live-action drama, produced by Paris-based Big Band Story for TF1, will return on Mondays at 21:10. Listings site TF1 Pro, TF1's website for media professionals, bills the run as an inédit, meaning a first-run broadcast, on Monday 12/10 at 21:10, according to TF1 Pro.
Cat's Eyes is based on the 1980s Tokyo-set manga Cat's Eye by Tsukasa Hojo. It follows three sisters who carry out art heists to reclaim a collection created by their missing father. Camille Lou, Constance Labbe and Claire Romain star as the sibling robbers, Deadline reported.
TF1 names the sisters Tamara, Sylia and Alexia Chamade. The broadcaster describes the show as an origin story in which the three women reunite in Paris in 2024 after a long separation and must improvise as burglars. Season 1 opened with an episode titled Tamara.
Season 1 ran for eight episodes. It played out against Paris landmarks including the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and the Palace of Versailles.
Season 2 starts wider. It opens with an operation on Mont St Michel, the tidal island abbey off the Normandy coast. Later locations include the Musée d'Orsay, Centre Pompidou and Montparnasse Tower.
The numbers explain the return. Season 1 averaged 5.3 million viewers per episode in France and captured an average 41% audience share among 15 to 24-year-olds. The series premiere drew a peak audience of 6.7 million viewers.
Sales have travelled too. Studio TF1, the group's sales organisation which handles international sales, has sold Season 1 into more than 100 territories. Hulu acquired US rights to Season 1. The series also won the Unifrance export award as the most successful French TV export of 2024, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
What makes this stand out is the distance travelled. A Japanese manga set in Tokyo now plays as a French network heist built around real museums and monuments. For viewers, that means new targets, the same three sisters and the same unfinished family job.
