BTS's Jimin posts first solo TikTok video to 'Be Mine'

BTS member Jimin posted his first video on his personal TikTok account on Monday, Sept. 28, almost a month after fans first spotted the empty page. The post marks his solo debut on the short-video platform, separate from the band's shared account. It is a small step. It matters because fans watch those pages closely.
The first clip keeps things straightforward. It shows Jimin dancing outdoors, on a hill next to a beach, to his single "Be Mine." He did not add a written message. The caption holds only three hashtags: #thisisjimin, #jimin and #be_mine, Billboard reported. Hashtags act as labels. They help other users find the clip when they search those words.
The account itself is not new. Fans noticed the solo handle, @jimin, about a month before he posted anything. The page sat empty while followers gathered. It is separate from BTS's official group account, @bts_official_bighit, which has more than 80 million followers. A group account holds years of shared clips. A personal account starts fresh and carries only one member's posts.
With this launch, Jimin becomes the fourth of the seven BTS members to open an individual TikTok account. He joins V, j-hope and Jung Kook, who already have solo pages. SUGA, RM and Jin did not have personal profiles at the time of reporting. That split is plain. Some members have chosen a solo feed. Others have not.
The music in the video comes from his own catalogue. "Be Mine" appears on MUSE, his solo album released in 2024. That record debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, the chart that ranks the most popular albums in the United States. A No. 2 debut means it entered the list in second place in its first week. The figure was counted by that chart.
The audience was already there. The personal account had picked up millions of followers before the first video went up, an early rush noted by allkpop. The profile at TikTok lists 6.5 million followers. Numbers on social platforms move often as people follow and unfollow. The early total still tells a clear story. People found the page before there was anything to watch.
For fans, this means a new place to check for dance clips and short solo updates. No extra announcement was tied to the first post. For now, it is one video, one hill, one song.
