Number_i hold Nos. 1 and 2 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 released Sept. 30, with “REBON” on top and “DIGITAL GIRL” entering at No. 2. The chart tallied activity for the week of Sept. 21 to 27 in Japan. Billboard

“REBON” arrived straight at No. 1 in its first chart appearance. It sold 304,863 copies to lead the physical sales measure, and recorded 32,268 download units to lead downloads, according to the chart that counted them.

The margin was physical sales. “DIGITAL GIRL” led a different measure, radio airplay, in its debut week. It added 21,860 downloads to rank No. 2 on the Download Songs chart.

Both songs come from “REBON / BUGS LIFE / DIGITAL GIRL,” described as a triple A-side single, meaning all three tracks are promoted as lead songs. It is Number_i’s fourth single and first release on Atlantic Records. “REBON” is presented as a sequel to the group’s signature song “BON.” Billboard Japan

The result gives Number_i a seventh No. 1 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100. The Hot 100 is organised around a mix of physical sales, downloads, streaming, video views and radio airplay. All three tracks from the single charted at once, after “BUGS LIFE” rose from No. 41 to No. 25.

At No. 3, EBiDAN’s “Yes! Tokyo” topped the streaming measure for the week. It sold 28,893 CDs in the same chart week.

What makes this stand out is the split. One act controlled sales, downloads and radio at the top, while a rival release controlled streaming just behind them.
