Dolce & Gabbana, the Italian fashion house, brought caviar and celebrity styling to Paris this week to sell its new collection directly to clients.

The programme centres on its store on Avenue Montaigne, the luxury shopping street in the French capital. It is direct-to-consumer, selling straight to shoppers rather than wholesale, selling to shops that resell.

For Wednesday evening, Sept. 30, the house enlisted Caviar Kaspia, the Paris restaurant specialising in caviar, to provide a co-branded food experience for a cocktail. The party was timed to its first resee in Paris, according to Women’s Wear Daily. A resee is a private viewing where clients see runway clothes up close after the show.

That viewing follows the spring 2027 collection presented in Milan on Sept. 26 by founders Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. Clients can touch fabrics, check construction and try pieces. It is a second chance to buy after the runway.

Star power is part of the plan. Jennifer Lopez attended the Milan show in an all-black masculine-style suit with a dark beret. Her outfit for the show and other appearances during Milan Fashion Week, the twice-yearly showcase in the Italian city, was put together by Rob Zangardi, her stylist.

Zangardi will lead one-on-one sessions in Paris on Thursday, Oct. 1. Clients can book time with him. Expect practical advice on fit and styling.

Behind the selling floor is a changed leadership team. Stefano Cantino was named co-CEO in April after leaving Gucci, the Italian luxury house, in September 2025. He built his career at the Prada Group, the Italian luxury group, and at Louis Vuitton, the French luxury house. He serves alongside Alfonso Dolce, chairman and chief executive and brother of co-founder Domenico Dolce.

What makes this stand out is the mix. Food, direct access to clothes and a link to a front-row guest, all inside one shop over two days.
