Drake's "Janice STFU" has spent a 19th week at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Rap Songs chart. The position appears on the chart dated 3 October. It is now his longest-running leader on that listing.

Nineteen weeks. No breaks. The song has held the top spot for its entire chart run since debuting at No. 1 on the chart dated 30 May, according to Billboard.

That run moves "Janice STFU" past "Hotline Bling." That 2015-16 hit spent 18 weeks at No. 1 and was Drake's previous longest reign on Hot Rap Songs, the chart organised by Billboard to rank rap songs in the United States.

Drake now holds 32 No. 1 hits on Hot Rap Songs. That total is a chart record. The latest weekly activity reflects steady listening behaviour across formats.

In the tracking week of 18-24 September, "Janice STFU" collected 9 million official on-demand streams in the US and 15.7 million in airplay audience, the estimated number of radio listeners reached, according to Luminate data cited by Billboard. The song also topped the Rap Streaming Songs chart, which tracks the most-streamed rap tracks, for a 17th week.

In all-time terms, "Janice STFU" now ties Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow's 2021 hit "Industry Baby" as the fourth-longest-running No. 1 in Hot Rap Songs history. Both songs spent 19 weeks at the top. Ahead of them are Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road," featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, with 20 weeks, Kendrick Lamar's "Not Like Us" with 26 weeks, and Kendrick Lamar and SZA's "Luther" with 47 weeks.

The album behind the single is also extending its run. Drake's ICEMAN spent a 13th week at No. 1 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, Billboard's ranking for albums in those genres. That passes Take Care, which spent 12 weeks at No. 1, as Drake's longest run atop that chart.

What makes this stand out is the consistency. Many chart-toppers dip and return. This one has not left. For fans checking each Tuesday update, the story has been the same name in the same slot since late May.
