Disney+ and Vidio pack superheroes, K-dramas and football into one Indonesian bundle

Indonesian viewers can now get Marvel, Star Wars and Premier League football in a single subscription. Disney+ has struck its first partnership with local streamer Vidio to sell their services together, Variety reported on Oct. 1.
The joint plan is called the Vidio Ultimate Disney+ All Screen Bundle. It pairs Disney+ Standard with Vidio Ultimate All Screen. One payment unlocks both apps. Viewers do not need two separate bills.
In practice, the bundle mixes scripted entertainment and live sport. Scripted here means made-up stories, from films to series. On the entertainment side are Marvel superhero stories, Star Wars, and Korean series. On the sport side are England's Premier League, the UEFA Champions League and Indonesia's domestic BRI Super League.
Bundle subscribers also get ESPN programming inside Disney+. That includes live coverage, documentaries and studio shows. For viewers, the idea is simple: pay once and browse both libraries.
There is a free sample for existing customers. Every Vidio user with an active subscription can open a "Taste of Disney+" collection on Vidio. The sampler offers episodes of "Flex X Cop" Season 2, the crime mystery "High Potential," the children's animation "Sofia the First" and the long-running hospital drama "Grey's Anatomy." It is a way to try Disney+ without leaving Vidio.
The partnership also runs in the other direction. Disney+ and Vidio are working to bring Vidio Original Series and sinetron to Disney+ subscribers. Sinetron is the local term for Indonesia's daily soap operas, often built around family and romance. That local slate is not on Disney+ yet, with the two sides saying it is coming.
Vidio brings local scale to the deal. It has been Indonesia's top streaming platform for four straight years, according to Media Partners Asia, a research organisation that tracks video markets in the region, Variety reported.
What makes this stand out is the blend. A household can pick a favourite cartoon in the morning and live football at night on one plan. Local stories will soon travel too, from Vidio to a global platform's audience. No extra app-hopping or second search.
