Chase Infiniti to Star in Portrait of God for Lionsgate

Chase Infiniti will star in "Portrait of God", a horror feature from film-maker Dylan Clark backed by Sam Raimi and Jordan Peele.
Lionsgate has acquired the rights and approved the film for production, which in industry terms is called a green light. Variety reported the casting and green light on 1 October 2026.
It is the first time Raimi and Peele have produced together. Raimi will produce with Rob Tapert through their company Ghost House. Peele will produce with Win Rosenfeld through his company Monkeypaw Productions.
The feature grows out of Clark's viral short film of the same name, according to Fangoria. Clark will direct the feature and co-wrote the script with Joe Russo. Russo will also serve as a producer.
Clark is already working with Lionsgate elsewhere. The studio has asked him to make his feature directing debut on a forthcoming untitled "Blair Witch" film.
The wider credits are now set. Chris Rosati is executive producing for Monkeypaw through his first-look deal at NAT20 Films, a pact that gives that company first call on his projects. Romel Adam and Jose Cañas will oversee the film for Ghost House, and Scott O'Brien will oversee for Lionsgate. Dan Freedman negotiated the deals for Lionsgate.
The project has changed homes. Deadline reported in December 2025 that "Portrait of God" was in development at Universal Pictures. The Hollywood Reporter first broke news of the project in development, with Lionsgate now confirmed as the studio taking it forward.
What makes this stand out is the pairing behind the camera. Raimi and Peele each lead their own horror banners. This puts both behind one new director and one young star.
