Prime Video's Neagley has gone straight to No. 1 in US streaming.

The drama drew 1.78 billion minutes of viewing for the week of 14 to 20 September 2026, according to Nielsen figures reported by The Hollywood Reporter. The count covers TV sets in the US only. It puts Neagley top overall for its premiere week.

Maria Sten stars as the title character. She plays a Chicago private eye and former military colleague of Jack Reacher. All eight episodes of season one were released at once, a binge release meaning viewers could watch the full story immediately.

That is a big start. It sits just below the series debut of Reacher in 2022, which drew 1.84 billion minutes. Prime Video has already renewed Neagley for a second season, giving its crew and writers' room another run.

Reacher itself finished third overall for 14 to 20 September with 1.42 billion minutes. That was the week of its fourth-season finale. Season four premiered on 12 August and had amassed 5.8 billion minutes of watch time by the end of that September week.

The result caps a strong run for the parent show. Reacher had topped 1 billion minutes for a fifth straight week in the prior measurement week of 7 to 13 September. For 14 to 20 September, the newer show finished ahead of it.

Netflix's Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story placed second with 1.48 billion minutes. It is the fourth season of Monster, an anthology series meaning each season tells a separate true-crime story. The previous season, Monster: The Ed Gein Story, drew 1.52 billion minutes in its debut week last year.

Elsewhere on the chart, Paramount+'s Lioness drew 897 million minutes. Apple TV's Ted Lasso drew 767 million minutes. Netflix YA series Crew Girl drew 635 million minutes. The top film for the week was Why Did I Get Married Again? with 332 million minutes.

All of these figures come with limits that are recognised across the trade. Nielsen ranks its streaming Top 10 by total minutes viewed by viewers aged 2 and over, as explained by Nielsen. It counts viewing on TV sets only in the US, and excludes computers and mobile devices. Its published charts cover Prime Video, Apple TV, Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu, Netflix, Paramount+, Peacock, Pluto TV and Starz.

The numbers are also arriving faster than before. Nielsen has cut the delay on its weekly streaming ratings from 28 days to 11 days, as reported by Variety. The first accelerated Top 10 was scheduled for 17 September, covering 31 August to 6 September.

What makes this stand out is the pairing at the top. A new lead from the Reacher world launched big and outviewed Reacher in the same week Reacher closed its season. For fans, this means both stories have momentum, with more Neagley now on the way.
