Mac Miller estate releases 10th anniversary edition of The Divine Feminine

Mac Miller’s estate has released a 10th anniversary edition of The Divine Feminine with three extra songs.
The expanded edition arrived on Oct. 2, a decade after the original album came out in September 2016, according to Billboard. It keeps the original tracklist intact and adds material from the same recording period.
One of the additions will already be familiar. “Butterflies” was put out in September as the first previously unreleased single from the anniversary rollout. The other two, “Grand” and “Channel 13”, reached streaming services for the first time on Oct. 2.
The family also revisited a piece of the album’s history. The Divine Feminine Live is built around the original 2016 TV series that was exclusive to DirecTV. It was scheduled to stream on Miller’s YouTube channel at 10 p.m. ET on Friday night.
Sam Balaban produced, directed and edited the special. Bart Peters served as the original live performance director, with contributions from E. Dan and Justin Boyd.
The original The Divine Feminine brought together a wide cast. Guests included Ariana Grande, Anderson .Paak, Kendrick Lamar, Ty Dolla $ign and CeeLo Green.
It made a fast start. The album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, the US albums chart, with 48,000 album-equivalent units, a measure that combines sales and streams into album sales. That first-week total was counted by Billboard.
One album cut also had a long chart life. “Cinderella” featuring Ty Dolla $ign peaked at No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100, the US singles chart. It also reached the top 10 on Billboard’s Rhythmic Airplay chart, which tracks plays on rhythmic radio stations.
For fans, this means more ways to hear the anniversary set. Alongside streaming, the 10th anniversary edition is offered as a 3LP vinyl set with the three bonus tracks, according to the Mac Miller official store. The package includes one light blue LP, one sea blue-coloured LP and one brown LP with a custom etching.
