Sister Wives returned for its 21st season without Kody and Robyn Brown.

Season 21 premiered Sunday, Oct. 4, 2026 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on TLC, which is 7 p.m. PT. The launch extends a run that began on Sept. 26, 2010, according to People.

TLC's trailer positions the new season around Meri, Janelle and Christine Brown. Kody and Robyn do not return for the season, The Hollywood Reporter reported from the trailer. That is a sharp break for a show built around one plural family.

The history is long. Kody was first legally married to Meri in 1990, then spiritually married Janelle in 1993 and Christine in 1994. A spiritual marriage here means a religious commitment without a legal marriage licence. He spiritually married Robyn in 2010, then made that marriage legal in 2014 after legally separating from Meri, though he and Meri stayed together at the time.

Those relationships later ended one by one. Kody and Christine announced their split in November 2021. Kody and Janelle confirmed their separation in December 2022. Kody and Meri's marriage was confirmed over that same month. Christine married David Woolley in October 2023.

For fans, this means a different show. TLC describes the season as catching up with the Brown family fresh off three divorces, according to TLC. The focus is life after the splits.

Viewers in the United States had several ways to watch live or catch up. The premiere aired on TLC and streamed live on Philo, DirecTV, Hulu + Live TV and Sling TV, with on-demand viewing, meaning streaming after the live broadcast, available after the initial air time.

Philo offers a seven-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. Its Essential plan, which includes TLC, costs $25 per month plus applicable taxes. DirecTV offers a five-day free trial. Past seasons are also available to stream on HBO Max and Hulu.
