Whitney Leavitt Gets Her Own Reality Series on Hulu

Whitney Leavitt is getting a reality series of her own. Hulu has greenlit an untitled show that will star Leavitt and follow her family as they handle her fame and career ambitions while putting family first, Deadline reported on November 4.
Leavitt will also produce the series. It comes from Jeff Jenkins Productions, 3BMG and Leavitt Media House, her own production company. Conner Leavitt, Jeff Jenkins, Russell Jay-Staglik, Amanda Weinstein, Brandon Beck, Ross Weintraub and Reinout Oerlemans are listed as executive producers. An executive producer is a senior figure who oversees a show's direction and money, rather than the day-to-day filming.
The announcement comes as Leavitt steps back from the show that made her a household name on the platform. She announced in May that she was leaving The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, during her final performance as Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago. She appeared in season five but will not appear in future seasons.
The parent show is not ending. Hulu has renewed it for another 20 episodes, according to Deadline's November report. Deadline reported in August that Hulu had renewed the series for three more seasons spanning 20 episodes, and that season five had five episodes. Hulu had also been exploring spinoffs of the show, Deadline reported in November 2025.
One spinoff is already on the way. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County premieres on November 12, with eight episodes. Its cast includes Jen Affleck, McCall DaPron, Bobbi Althoff, Aspyn Ovard, Avery Woods, Salomé Andrea, Ashleigh Pease and Madison Bontempo. In the U.S. it will be available on Hulu and on Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers. Disney+ will carry it internationally, according to Hulu's press site.
Leavitt's other work keeps her in the public eye. She competed on season 34 of Dancing with the Stars with partner Mark Ballas and finished sixth. She made her feature film debut in the holiday romantic comedy All for Love, opposite Jesse Kove, and executive produced it through Leavitt Media House.
Hulu's bio for Leavitt says she is married with two children and is pregnant with her third. It also lists 2 million followers on TikTok and 250,000 on Instagram.
No premiere date or platform has been announced for the untitled Leavitt series yet. For viewers, the next date on the calendar is November 12, when the Orange County spinoff arrives.
