Tubi adds 800 Just For Laughs specials and episodes in Canada
Tubi has picked up 800 comedy specials and episodes from Just For Laughs for viewers in Canada.
The package has joined Tubi's Canadian feed, which is free to watch and supported by adverts, in a licensing deal that gives Tubi the rights to stream the titles, according to Deadline. The deal was announced on 5 October 2026. It covers stand-up hours and series from the Just For Laughs catalogue.
The stand-up line-up includes Dave Merheje: I Love You Habibi, Hasan Minhaj: Adult Boy and Howie Mandell: Don't Sneeze On Me. It also includes Jeff Dunham @ JFL: Volume I and II, Rick Mercer: Raise a Little Hell and Tiffany Haddish Top of the World. Trevor Noah @ JFL: Volume I and II and Will Forte Time of My Time round out the named specials.
Series form the other half of the deal. Tubi gets Just for Laughs Gags, the hidden-camera prank show, alongside Funny As Hell, Just Kidding and LOL Just for Laughs Sketch Show. That mix puts full-length specials and shorter episode-length comedy in one place.
The deal was brokered by Alonso Carrillo on behalf of Tubi with Véronique Bussières of the Just For Laughs Group. Gave Lindo is vice president and general manager of Canada at Tubi. Carlos Pacheco is director of digital revenue and distribution at Just For Laughs.
For fans, this means no ticket and no subscription is needed. Open the app in Canada, search Just For Laughs, and the specials and series are there to stream.
