The 85 South Show Heads to Tubi With a 10-Episode Collection

85 South Media has signed a distribution deal with Tubi, the free streaming service owned by Fox Entertainment. A distribution deal means Tubi will show the company's shows to its own viewers under an agreement. Deadline first reported the deal as an exclusive on 28 October 2026.
The first piece is a collection of 10 episodes of The 85 South Show. It is called The Best Of The 85 South Show, and it features Karlous Miller, DC Young Fly and Chico Bean. Tubi will make it available on its free service, where viewers can watch without paying a subscription fee, because the platform is paid for by advertising.
Tubi's own listing for the collection describes a show that mixes Black culture with stand-up comedy, in frank conversations that are not scripted. The collection is the first step in what is expected to be a larger presence for the show on Tubi, and more content will be announced later.
The show has already built a large following on YouTube. According to Deadline, it has amassed more than 750 million views and more than 2.56 million subscribers. Chad Oubre is the chief executive and co-founder of 85 South Media.
The company also has a feature film in the works. Deadline reports that 85 South's first major feature, 85 South: Dead End, will bow on Tubi next year. A bow is the term for a film's first release.
The deal sits inside a wider push by Tubi into creator-led films. In 2025, Tubi announced a four-film slate with Kevin Hart's production company Hartbeat, which it called its first exclusive creator content deal. Variety reported the four creator-driven films at the time. DC Young Fly, Chico Bean and Karlous Miller are set to lead one of those films, and Kinigra Deon leads another, a film called Sundown.
For viewers, the change is simple. A show that has lived on YouTube will now also sit on a free service where people can find it through Tubi's own catalogue. Whatever comes after the 10-episode collection will be announced in time.
