Megan Thee Stallion turned her hair into cat ears for a studio shoot shared on Sunday, Oct. 4.
The rapper posted photos and short clips on Instagram and TikTok in a skin-tight dress, posing in what appeared to be a recording studio, Billboard reported.
The hair did most of the talking. Hairstylist Kellon Deryck shaped her platinum hair into an updo with two points worn like ears, finished with peachy-orange tips that added a flash of colour.
Megan had asked for exactly that. She requested hair that looked like cat ears, and Deryck built the style around the brief.
She finished the look with a pink Chanel bag and a matching phone case. The clips show her turning for the camera, holding the bag close and letting the hair shape read from every angle.
Reaction came fast. WNBA star Angel Reese was among those who liked the look. One fan wrote under the Instagram post, "This is PURRfection Thee cat ears being formed by Megans hair Kellon is a HAIR GENIUS."
What makes this stand out is how simple the idea was. No full costume. One dress, one bag, and a hairstyle doing the job of ears.
The post arrives ahead of another fashion booking. Megan will take part in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in Los Angeles, Complex reported. The three-time Grammy winner joins a line-up that mixes music and modelling, a familiar lane for her recent appearances.
