Shakira will play one more night in Madrid. The singer announced on Monday, Oct. 5, that her Madrid residency will now run through Oct. 12, one day after its previously planned final concert, according to Billboard.

The added show is titled El Último Baile (The Last Dance). It falls on Spain's Hispanic Day and is billed as a grand farewell with friends. More details will be revealed at a Madrid press conference on Oct. 6 led by Live Nation Spain president Pino Sagliocco.

The extra date was added in response to overwhelming demand for tickets. The residency, a run of shows staged in one city rather than a moving tour, opened on Sept. 18 at Shakira Stadium, a temporary venue built at Iberdrola Music for the concert series. The concerts form part of her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, organised by Live Nation España.

The Madrid run was initially planned as a 12-date engagement, as reported by Billboard. It marked her return to performing in Spain after eight years away. Demand was strong from the start, with more than 450,000 tickets sold in just a few hours when new dates were released earlier this year, according to Billboard.

The shows so far have included guests such as Laura Pausini, Alejandro Sanz, Manuel Turizo, Dua Lipa and the Ghetto Kids. Her Oct. 3 concert in Madrid streamed live on Amazon Music. That broadcast became the most-watched livestream by a female artist on the platform to date.

Tickets for Oct. 12 go on presale for Santander Music customers on Oct. 6 at 3 p.m. local time. General sale follows on Oct. 7 at 10 a.m. via Live Nation, Ticketmaster and El Corte Inglés.

For fans, this means one last chance to secure a seat. The farewell closes a homecoming run that has kept growing night by night.
