The Voice Season 30 Premiere Hits 7.8 Million Viewers

The Voice has sung its way to its biggest opening in more than a year. The Season 30 premiere drew 7.8 million viewers in its first seven days of availability, Variety reported on Oct. 5.
That total combines two measurements. It counts linear viewers, meaning people who watched on broadcast TV on NBC, measured by Nielsen, plus streams on Peacock counted by NBCUniversal.
It is the largest opening audience for the show since Season 27 in spring 2025. The premiere was up 5% on the seven-day total for the Season 28 premiere last autumn. After only three days of availability, it was already up 57% on last year.
Streaming did the heavy lifting. The episode became the most-streamed episode of The Voice ever. It also reached more than 19 million viewers across platforms in terms of reach, meaning the number of people who sampled at least some of it.
The social response was large too. The premiere episode generated 337 million video views across social media platforms between Sept. 21 and Sept. 25, according to data from Sprout Social cited by Variety.
What makes this stand out is how people watched. For the first time, The Voice aired as a simulcast, meaning the same broadcast went out on NBC and Peacock at the same time in all time zones. New episodes debut on Mondays at 8 p.m.
The Season 30 coaching panel brings together Queen Latifah, Riley Green, Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine. This season is organised around theme weeks including Dolly Parton, Y2K and TikTok hits, Variety reported.
