Hasbro to open third Peppa Pig Play Cafe in Suzhou as Transformers ride heads to Brazil

Hasbro will open its third Peppa Pig Play Cafe in Suzhou, China in October 2026.
The company confirmed the launch on 6 October 2026, as part of a wider push into location-based entertainment, meaning attractions built around familiar toys and shows rather than screen releases, Variety reported.
The Suzhou site will offer immersive themed dining, interactive play experiences and character encounters. Children can eat, play and meet costumed characters in rooms dressed up as the world of the television series. It follows the same cafe formula Hasbro has already tested in China.
That earlier rollout began with China Leisure Development Co. The two companies partnered to open a Peppa Pig Play Café in Hangzhou, on the third floor of Hall B in the Binjiang Yintai Shopping Center. Southwest China’s first Peppa Pig Play Café then opened in 2023, a 1,300-square-metre space with multiple immersive settings built around themed dining.
Hasbro is also adding to its Peppa Pig footprint elsewhere. It said in July 2025 that it would develop an additional Peppa Pig theme park with Max-Matching Entertainments, with the location to be announced later that year.
The Suzhou opening sits inside a much larger attractions slate. Hasbro lists a Clue: Murder on the Menu experience opening in Charlotte, North Carolina. Its Nerf Coaster runs at Galaxyland Powered by Hasbro in Alberta, Canada. The Monopoly Experience: Treasures of Brazil is in São Paulo, Brazil.
In Saudi Arabia, the company has the Play-Doh Imagination Center in Abha and the Transformers: Battle of Cybertron attraction in Riyadh.
Next up is Brazil. Transformers Mission Energon Gramado is set to open in Rio Grande do Sul before the end of 2026. It is made in collaboration between Hasbro and Dream Cars Automóveis e Eventos.
The programme is overseen in part by Matt Proulx, Hasbro’s senior vice president of global experiences, partnerships and music.
For families, this means more choice close to home. A cafe visit is shorter and cheaper than a full theme park day. A ride ties a shopping centre or resort to characters children already know.
