Sam Bankman-Fried speaks from prison in a new documentary series coming to Prime Video in November.

The three-part series is called The Boy Who Stole Billions? It will stream on Prime Video, Amazon's streaming service, The Hollywood Reporter reported.

A docuseries, meaning a non-fiction story told across episodes, suits this shape. Three parts means three episodes. Viewers get the full story in one short run.

What makes this stand out is the access. The series features Bankman-Fried in prison, with exclusive firsthand accounts from him. That is rare. Prison interviews are tightly controlled. They take time to arrange.

The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Propagate and West Buttermilk. Propagate and Amazon MGM Studios teamed to make it together.

The executive producer list is a long one. Executive producers, the people who oversee a show creatively and financially, are Howard T. Owens, Ben Silverman, Drew Buckley, Isabel San Vargas, Taylor Levin, Nanette Burstein and James Packer, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Owens and Silverman lead Propagate. The company works across unscripted and scripted programming. Here it is paired with a studio that also owns the platform. That keeps production and release under one roof.

For fans, this means a short wait. November is next month. No exact day has been announced. No episode lengths have been confirmed.

Amazon has ordered it as a finished three-parter. Nothing is left on the bubble, meaning nothing is still waiting on a renewal decision. The story is shot. It is cut. It just needs a slot.

That slot is Prime Video. The service is available worldwide. Subscribers will be able to watch all three parts there once they land.
