Peri Gilpin to Play Brooke Shields' Sister in You're Killing Me Season 2

Peri Gilpin will guest star in Season 2 of Acorn TV's You're Killing Me as the sister of Brooke Shields' character. The casting was first reported as an exclusive by Deadline.

Gilpin will play Audra Chandler. Audra is the sister of Allie, the character played by Shields. She is described as a critically acclaimed writer.

Shields leads the programme and also serves as an executive producer. The cast also includes Amalia Williamson as Andi and Tom Cavanagh as Jack.

Season 2 moves the story to Founder's Cove, a town in Maine. It is organised as six hour-long episodes. Cameras are already rolling.

The series was created by Robin Bernheim. It is a co-production between Shaftesbury and Topsail. Worldwide distribution outside Canada is held by AMC Studios and Dynamic Television, according to Deadline.

For viewers, this means more family in the mix. Allie now has a sister on screen. That relationship gives the new mystery in Founder's Cove a personal edge from the start.
