Tucker Wetmore Dodges Ella Langley Dating Question With Two Words

Tucker Wetmore was asked point-blank if he and Ella Langley are a thing. He gave two words back: "Next question."
The exchange happened during a question-and-answer appearance at WAVE in Wichita, Kansas, as Billboard reported on Oct. 6. A fan in the room asked him to confirm the rumours. The crowd reacted before he did.
He did not answer straight away. He first sang a snatch of Lee Brice's 2018 song "Rumor." Then came the dodge. Short. Firm. He moved on.
The question did not come from nowhere. Wetmore and Langley were spotted together on a trip with friends to the British Virgin Islands in December 2025. That sighting fuelled months of talk among country fans.
Late last month, the talk sharpened. TMZ reported on Sept. 23 that the two singers are officially an item and had been dating for quite some time. E! News reported on Sept. 24 that multiple outlets had confirmed the relationship, adding that it followed nearly a year of romance rumours. E! News said it had contacted representatives for both singers for comment and had not heard back at the time.
Neither singer has given a direct confirmation themselves. Wetmore's response in Wichita keeps it that way.
For fans keeping score, both singers head into awards season with plenty on the line. Langley leads the upcoming CMA Awards nominations with nine, including entertainer of the year. The CMA Awards, country music's annual flagship awards show, are set for November in Nashville. Wetmore is nominated there for new artist of the year.
Langley also swept all seven of her categories at the 2026 ACM Awards in May, including female artist of the year. Wetmore has spent the summer on big stages, including an appearance at Billboard Country Live and a set at the inaugural Country Splash Cabo festival.
