Twisted Teens have released a new single called “Stalks”, taken from their forthcoming album The Holy Cross Tigers.

The New Orleans duo issued the track alongside a video directed by Mama Hot Dog, Pitchfork reported on 7 October 2026. The clip is staged like a television show set. The band perform dressed in rubbish.

Garbage cans become costumes. Soda cans serve as hair rollers. Trash bags are worn as bonnets.

The Holy Cross Tigers is scheduled for release on 6 November 2026. It will be the band’s third album of the year and their first for Sub Pop, the Seattle label they signed to in summer 2026.

The album also includes “When We First Met”. That song was the first single from the record, with a video directed by Anthony Simpkins.

It is a busy year. Twisted Teens put out Blame the Clown in January and Florida Water Blues in July. Their self-titled debut LP, a full-length album, arrived in 2024.

The group are a duo. Caspian Hollywell is the singer-guitarist. RJ Santos plays console steel guitar, an instrument played flat with a slide.

For the rest of 2026, the band will play more than a dozen shows opening for Kurt Vile and the Violators. The run also includes a headlining leg in Australia, Pitchfork reported.

What makes this stand out is pace and presentation. Three records in ten months is a heavy release schedule. For fans, this means the November album closes a run that moved from independent releases to a Sub Pop debut.
