USA Network Renews Anna Pigeon for Season 2 Ahead of Finale

USA Network has renewed Anna Pigeon for Season 2, meaning the drama will return after its first run ends. The decision was reported on Oct. 7, two days before the Season 1 finale airs on Oct. 9 Variety. That timing gives viewers an answer before the credits roll on the first chapter. The crew gets continuity too. Viewers can finish Season 1 knowing more is on the way.
Tracy Spiridakos stars as Anna Pigeon, a national park ranger at the centre of the story. The series is based on Nevada Barr's Anna Pigeon book series. It debuted on USA Network on Aug. 7. New episodes air weekly on Fridays at 10 p.m. ET/PT, listed as 10/9c USA Network.
Morwyn Brebner serves as showrunner, overseeing the day-to-day creative work on the series. Lea Thompson directs episodes and is also an executive producer, part of the team guiding the show behind the camera. The series is produced by Cineflix and SEVEN24 Films for USA Network in association with Bell Media. Cineflix Rights is the exclusive international distribution partner outside the United States, handling sales abroad.
The ensemble around Spiridakos took shape in 2025. Manuel Rodriguez-Saenz, Ryan Northcott and Cooper Levy were cast that August. Paulina Alexis and Tricia Helfer joined soon after. It is that group who will carry the story forward into Season 2.
The order ends a brief period of uncertainty. As recently as Oct. 2, USA Network had not announced a renewal for Season 2 Just Jared. Five days later, the future was confirmed. For a series with a large working crew, that kind of quick answer matters.
The renewal is part of a busy autumn for the network. The Rainmaker Season 2 is set to debut on USA Network on Oct. 16. The network has also ordered Diplomatic Immunity, a medical drama from Matt Corman and Chris Ord. The slate is taking shape under new ownership, after Comcast spun off USA Network into the standalone company Versant in early 2026.
For fans, this means no cliffhanger wait. Episodes air exclusively on USA Network during the season. After the Season 1 finale, episodes stream on USANetwork.com USA Network. Season 2 now has a clear slot to aim for.
