Artios Awards Name TV Casting Nominees Including The Pitt and Pluribus

The casting teams behind The Pitt, The Diplomat, Pluribus and Heated Rivalry are up for honours at the 42nd annual Artios Awards.
The Casting Society announced its non-film nominees on 7 October 2026, as reported by Deadline. The October list covered television, theatre, commercials, short film and short-form series. The Artios celebrate casting, the process of finding and selecting actors for each part.
The group behind the prizes is the Casting Society, also known as CSA. It describes itself as a global organisation for casting professionals, dedicated to upholding standards in casting across the entertainment industry, according to the Casting Society. Its members include casting directors, associate casting directors, casting executives and unscripted casting producers. They work across film, television, theatre, reality, new media and commercials.
In Television Series: Drama, which covers returning drama series, two familiar titles made the list. Season 2 of The Pitt was nominated. Season 3 of The Diplomat was nominated alongside it. Both nominations recognise the full casting team for the continuing season, not a single performer.
The first-year drama race sits in a separate category. Television Pilot and First Season: Drama, meaning a drama in its debut year, includes Heated Rivalry. It also includes Pluribus. The separation keeps new ensembles apart from returning shows with established casts. For a new series, that early notice matters because the first cast is often how viewers meet the story.
Winners will be revealed on 18 February 2027, according to the Casting Society. Ceremonies are planned in three cities: Beverly Hills, New York City and London. Three cities, one night. The multi-city format lets members in the United States and the United Kingdom attend closer to home.
What makes this stand out is the focus. Viewers usually learn the actors first. Here the attention goes to the people who assembled them. A nomination means a room of casting peers noticed the fit between script and performer. The trophies arrive in February.
