Remothered: Red Nun's Legacy unites Silent Hill composer and Dimitrescu star for October launch

A stalker nun voiced by Lady Dimitrescu, music by the composer of Silent Hill, and a launch just in time for Halloween. That is the pitch for Remothered: Red Nun's Legacy.
The horror game from Stormind Games is scheduled for release on consoles and PC on October 27, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version to follow on December 3, according to details shared around its latest trailer GameSpot.
Maggie Robertson voices the Red Nun. She is the tall, hunting enemy — the type of monster that tracks the player through each level — at the centre of the game. Robertson is best known as Lady Dimitrescu in Resident Evil Village, a role that won her acclaim at The Game Awards.
The music comes from Akira Yamaoka, the composer long associated with Silent Hill. His work defined that series with low drones, static and spare guitar. Cissy Jones, a BAFTA Games Awards winner, voices a character named Susan Stormind Games.
The latest trailer premiered during the Horror Game Awards showcase. Stormind Games has also released an official story trailer and confirmed a physical edition on PlayStation 5.
The setting is Sicily. That choice is personal. The developers are based in Sicily, and the team points to the island's monasteries and baroque architecture as the base for the game's look and mood.
Stormind Games describes the project as a modern return to classic survival horror with an Italian neo-giallo twist. In plain terms, that means tense exploration with limited supplies, shaped by the bright colours and murder-mystery style of Italian thriller films. The game is published by Stormind Games, with Soft Source handling publishing in Asia.
What makes this stand out is the pairing. Yamaoka brings instant recognition for horror fans. Robertson brings a voice players already fear. For anyone new to the series, this is a self-contained entry point: a short, sharp ghost story set in a Sicilian world, built to be played in the dark.
