Dan Reynolds and Minka Kelly split after four years together

Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds and actress Minka Kelly have split after four years together.
PEOPLE confirmed the break-up on 7 October. Billboard followed with its own report, crediting PEOPLE as its source and citing a source close to the couple as saying the split happened recently.
Reynolds is the lead singer of Imagine Dragons, the Las Vegas rock band behind stadium tours and chart runs on both sides of the Atlantic. Kelly is an actress whose recent work includes the series Ransom Canyon.
The pair were first linked in November 2022 after being introduced by a mutual friend. The timing followed a major change in Reynolds' personal life. He had announced his split from his wife of more than 10 years, Aja Volkman, in September 2022, about two months before his romance with Kelly began.
Reynolds shares four children with Volkman. Volkman has since officially filed for divorce.
For much of their relationship, Reynolds and Kelly kept public appearances to a minimum. That changed on 30 May this year, when they made their red-carpet debut as a couple at the 2026 Museum of Contemporary Art Gala in Los Angeles. The outing came after more than three years of dating.
PEOPLE had previously described the pair as being in a “happy, healthy relationship” since 2022. Before being linked to Reynolds, Kelly had split from comedian and former Daily Show host Trevor Noah.
Neither Reynolds nor Kelly has publicly commented further on the break-up.
