Owen Wilson is teeing up another run. Apple TV has released the trailer for season two of its sports comedy Stick, which premieres on November 4, 2026 with two episodes, according to Deadline.

The new season will then release one episode weekly until December 30, 2026. That weekly rollout keeps the show in its regular slot through the holiday period.

Wilson stars as Pryce Cahill, an ex-pro golfer, and also serves as executive producer on the series. In season two, Pryce attempts a playing comeback with a bold target: to become the oldest golfer ever to win the U.S. Open.

The comeback pulls his small circle back into the game. Peter Dager plays Santi, the young golf prodigy who is now chasing a professional career. Marc Maron plays Mitts, Pryce's caddie, while Timothy Olyphant plays Clark Ross, Pryce's former rival.

Rhea Seehorn joins the cast in a supporting role as Coach Amanda, known as the swing doctor. The title refers to a coach who fixes a player's swing. Her arrival adds a new voice to Pryce's bid to return to top form.

The ensemble also grows. John Higgins, Billy Zane, Rex Linn, Sasha Alexander and Missi Pyle join for season two.

Several familiar faces return as guests. Jim Nantz, Trevor Immelman, Matt Scharff and Dan Rapaport all make return guest appearances, bringing real-world golf coverage into the fictional story.

For viewers new to the programme, this means two parallel chases. Pryce is fighting age and history. Santi is fighting his way in.

Stick premiered on June 4, 2025, according to Apple TV. The series is run by showrunner Jason Keller, meaning the writer-producer in overall charge of the show, and hails from Apple Studios.

Apple TV confirmed the November 4 return date in August, and debuted the new trailer on October 8, 2026. The humour stays on the course. The work behind it stays large, from the regular cast to the crew who stage tournament golf for television.
