Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Sets Season 2 Return on Disney+
Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man will return for Season 2 on Jan. 13, 2027 on Disney+. Variety reported the date on Oct. 8, 2026 Variety. Mark the calendar.
The animated series started in early 2025. Disney+ listed it among its new arrivals for January 2025, and then released Episodes 3 to 5 on Feb. 12, 2025, according to Disney+ press notes Disney+ Press. That schedule puts almost two years between those early episodes and the new season.
Hudson Thames leads the voice cast as Peter Parker, the teenager behind Spider-Man. Colman Domingo voices Norman Osborn, the powerful businessman and father figure in Peter's orbit. Both castings were confirmed in Variety's reporting on the new season.
The regular cast also includes Grace Song as Nico Minoru. Kari Wahlgren voices Aunt May. Eugene Byrd voices Lonnie Lincoln, who is also known as Tombstone, and Zeno Robinson voices Harry Osborn.
Two familiar Marvel names round out the line-up. Hugh Dancy voices Otto Octavius, also known as Doctor Octopus. Charlie Cox voices Daredevil, the New York vigilante he also plays in live action.
The cartoon does not share its story with the cinema version. It takes place in a separate world from Tom Holland's live-action Spider-Man films. In plain terms, it is a different timeline with its own chain of events, so viewers do not need to have seen the movies to follow it.
Disney+ lists the series as TV-PG, meaning parental guidance is suggested for younger children Disney+. The same listing notes Audio Description and Subtitles/CC options. Those tools describe on-screen action aloud and display dialogue as text.
For fans, this means a long but now dated wait for a favourite web-slinger. The first season set the table. Season 2 has a launch day.
