Last two Leisure Suit Larry games to leave Steam on 23 October

The last two Leisure Suit Larry games will leave Steam on 23 October.
Publisher Assemble Entertainment has set that date as the final day of sale for Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don't Dry and Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Dry Twice on Steam, according to Video Games Chronicle. After that date, neither title will be available for new buyers on Steam, Valve's PC storefront.
The pair are the final entries in the long-running comedy adventure series. Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don't Dry was released in 2018. Its direct sequel, Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Dry Twice, was released in 2020.
Their departure finishes a wider withdrawal from Steam that started last year. Then, the earlier Sierra On-Line titles — Leisure Suit Larry 1 through 7, a run that famously never included a fourth game, plus the spin-off Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude — were removed from Steam. Those older games remained available to buy on GOG, the PC store built around DRM-free releases, games sold without always-on copy protection checks.
Assemble is marking the farewell with a steep discount across three stores. Both Wet Dreams games have been cut by 95% on Steam, GOG and Nintendo Switch ahead of the delisting. On GOG and Switch, each game now costs US$1.99 / £0.89, down from US$39.99 / £35.99 each, according to Video Games Chronicle.
Steam also lists the two games together as the Leisure Suit Larry - Wet Dreams Saga bundle. That combined listing gives Steam buyers a single route to pick up both titles before they go. Individual Steam pages for Wet Dreams Don't Dry and Wet Dreams Dry Twice remain live until the 23 October cut-off.
A delisting is the industry term for removal from sale on a store. It stops new purchases. People who have already bought a game can usually still download and play it, although the shop page no longer takes orders.
What makes this stand out is completeness. Once the two Wet Dreams games go, no main Leisure Suit Larry entry will be left to buy new on Steam. The series will still have a presence elsewhere, including on GOG where its predecessors survived the earlier cull.
For fans, this means the choice is simple and time-limited. Anyone who wants the games tied to a Steam library has until 23 October to buy them. Anyone happy to play on GOG or Switch can use the same 95% sale there. Either way, the Steam era for Larry Laffer's later adventures is about to end.
