Gunna launched SB The Label in partnership with Atlantic Records on 9 October. He paired the announcement with a new single. Three new acts join him from day one. Billboard

The first signings are Casper Bluff, Nechie and Dracc. Gunna said in a statement: "SB The Label represents the beginning of a new chapter for me." No release dates for the three artists were announced.

The single is "Pop It", released on 9 October. Its video stars tennis player Coco Gauff and was directed by Spike Jordan. The clip runs for 2 minutes, 57 seconds and was released to commemorate the label announcement. Complex

Three names lead the roster. The deal centres on new music from those acts through the imprint, with Atlantic Records providing distribution and label support. The structure is common in rap: an artist runs an imprint that finds talent while a larger organisation handles release and promotion.

Gunna also teased his next studio album before the single arrived. It will be titled Splurge. No release date or tracklist was confirmed. Variety

The label launch follows his 2025 album The Last Wun. That record arrived via Young Thug's YSL imprint and 300 Entertainment. It debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 in August 2025 with 80,000 album-equivalent units, the measure that converts plays into album sales, and gave Gunna his seventh top 10 project on that chart.

For fans, this means two stories to follow at once. Gunna is now in charge of other artists. He is also setting up his own next release.
