Andy Allo to Guest Star in The Rookie: North as Brooke

Andy Allo will guest star in ABC's The Rookie: North as Brooke.
The role puts a hospital newcomer at the centre of a police story. The spin-off is set to premiere in 2027, according to Deadline.
Brooke is a first-year ER resident. She is characterised as warm, smart, attractive and effortlessly charming.
She quickly forms a connection with a rookie police officer played by Jay Ellis. A guest star, meaning an actor appearing in selected episodes rather than as a full-time cast member. That link gives the show an early bridge between the emergency ward and the beat.
The Rookie: North centres on Alex Holland. After a violent home invasion, Holland joins the Pierce County Police Department as a rookie.
The main cast also includes Chris Sullivan, Karen Fukuhara, Froy Gutierrez, Janet Montgomery, Mya Lowe and Malik Watson. Ellis pulls double duty. He acts in the ensemble and serves as a producer.
Behind the camera, Alexi Hawley will serve as writer and executive producer. An executive producer is a senior creative and business lead on a series.
Nathan Fillion, Mark Gordon, Bill Norcross and Michelle Chapman will also executive produce, according to Deadline. Hawley created the original The Rookie universe that this new show grows from.
Allo is best known recently for starring in Amazon's Upload opposite Robbie Amell. She played Nora, a customer-service guide caught between life and a digital afterlife.
She previously recurred on NBC's Chicago Fire as Lieutenant Wendy Seager. Her film credits include Netflix's Absolute Dominion and the third Pitch Perfect film.
For viewers, this means a familiar face in a new uniform. Or rather, scrubs. Allo moves from comedy, firehouse drama and film into a police spin-off with a medical twist.
She is repped by Verve and Zero Gravity.
