Barry Manilow cancelled his Friday and Saturday shows in Las Vegas after bronchitis cut his Friday set short after two songs.

The 83-year-old singer left the stage on Friday night. He did not return.

The concerts were part of his residency, a long run of shows in one venue, at the International Theater at Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. He had returned to that room on Thursday, Oct. 8, after a weeks-long break, according to Billboard.

The Friday and Saturday cancellations were attributed to bronchitis. His official site had listed performances on Oct. 9 and Oct. 10 at the International Theater.

The interruption follows a difficult late summer for the singer. In August, he cancelled two Las Vegas shows citing technical problems, as reported by Billboard. Around the same period, he underwent treatment for stage 1 lung cancer.

Manilow returned to the Westgate stage on Oct. 8. The Washington Times reported that comeback came after a weeks-long absence.

For fans, this means a second disruption in three months. No replacement dates for the October shows have been confirmed in the latest reports.

Manilow has continued to plan ahead around the residency. Westgate announced new 2027 dates for the Las Vegas run on September 22, 2026, according to his official site. The site also notes his album What A Time, released on June 5, 2026 and billed as his first album of nearly all-original songs in 15 years, and a U.S. arena tour announced on July 15, 2026 celebrating local music educators.
