Harry and Meghan head to Nottingham for first joint outing since UK return

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will make their first joint public appearance since moving back to Britain in Nottingham.
The couple returned to the UK from Montecito, California in August, six years after stepping away from royal duties in 2020. Their comeback outing takes them to a city with history for them, according to Hello! Magazine.
First stop is the Community Recording Studio in the St Ann's area. The pair will watch an acting workshop there on Thursday. Prince Harry visited the same studio alone in September 2025.
Next on the list is the Himmah food bank. There they will join members of the Hubb Community Kitchen, the west London cooking group formed by women after the Grenfell Tower fire in June 2017, in which 72 people died.
Meghan Markle has a long link to that group. She wrote the foreword to its Together cookbook, published in 2018. The food bank visit reunites her with cooks she first supported seven years ago.
The Nottingham programme is also expected to include Epic Partners, a local project that supports young people through sports programmes and mentoring.
What makes this stand out is the choice of city. Nottingham was the first place Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visited together in public after their engagement in 2017. Nine years on, they are starting this chapter in the same place.
Since the August move, the couple have settled in the Cotswolds with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Sightings so far have been low-key. Meghan Markle had lunch with Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi at The Three Horseshoes pub in Burford, Oxfordshire in September. The couple visited the Falkland Arms pub on 2 October.
Prince Harry was also spotted at rugby. He watched Leicester Tigers beat Gloucester at Mattioli Woods Welford Road Stadium in Leicester on 9 October.
Meghan Markle has continued work on her lifestyle brand from the UK. She said net proceeds from sales of its jams and teas on International Day of the Girl on 11 October would go to the Malala Fund, which supports girls' education.
