Ella Langley back on stage after Tulsa security threat

Ella Langley was back on stage in Lubbock, Texas, on Saturday, Oct. 10, one night after cancelling her concert in Tulsa, Oklahoma, over a security threat.
The Friday show at Tulsa's BOK Center was called off after a threat was phoned in ahead of the event, according to Billboard. Tulsa police Captain Richard Meulenberg said the caller warned someone would bring "great harm" through "shots fired and bombs."
Officers swept the building and the surrounding area on Friday. The Tulsa Police Department said the sweep found no credible threat to the safety of the event. The show did not go ahead.
Langley spoke about the decision directly from the stage at United Supermarkets Arena in Lubbock on Saturday. She described the Tulsa incident as a serious security threat and said she refused to put anyone in harm's way.
She told the Lubbock crowd that a concert is "not worth a human life." She added that she would have made the decision to cancel the Tulsa show "10 billion times over."
The Lubbock date was the next stop on her Dandelion Tour, named for her album of the same name. The tour had been due to play Tulsa the night before.
For fans, this means the focus now shifts to the rest of the run. Langley gave no sign of stepping back. She played Lubbock as planned, with the Tulsa cancellation standing as a safety call rather than a wider change to the tour.
