Golden Goose puts Mickey and Friends on sneakers and sweatshirts

Golden Goose, the Italian sneaker and clothing brand, launches a Mickey & Friends capsule with Disney, the US entertainment company, on Tuesday 13 October 2026.
The range — a capsule, a small limited collection — puts character artwork on ready-to-wear, accessories and the brand's Super-Star sneaker, according to trade publication WWD WWD. The launch was reported on the same day it bows.
The hero sneaker stays familiar. It comes in vintage-style grey suede with a white leather star. Kids get their own sizes. The shoe is sold for men, women and children.
The clothing follows the same lived-in feel. The line includes an oversize reversible bomber jacket, washed and distressed sweatshirts and T-shirts, a polo shirt and baseball caps, alongside pieces cut for children. Shoppers can personalise items — add their own touch — with Disney-inspired patches, pins, charms and lace sets printed with Disney graphics.
For fans, this means the shop is part of the event. Golden Goose, led by chief executive officer Silvio Campara, will run a global co-creation tour in its stores. Brand artisans and Disney cartoonists will customise products with buyers on the spot.
The tour starts on Wednesday, the day after the 13 October launch, at the Golden Goose store in South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, California. Events then run through early December. Planned stops include New York City, Miami, Orlando, Mexico City, Milan, Paris, London, Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Seoul and Tokyo, among other cities WWD.
The brand presents the project online under the title “Where Dreams Take Shape” and describes it as a retro-space co-creation. Its website also points to a digital gift linked to the collection. An earlier brand post on 7 October said the worldwide launch would be 13 October and named Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse Club and Pluto among the designs featured.
Co-creation is Golden Goose’s term for its in-store and online personalisation service, where customers add drawings, treatments and extras to finished products with help from makers.
